Ms. Spires represents clients whose lives have been tragically harmed by defective products. She served as lead counsel for a family whose kratom wrongful death case resulted in an unprecedented $11 million judgment and has negotiated substantial settlements for people hurt by dangerous products nationwide. Tamara stands up to large manufacturers and distributors on behalf of families who rarely have a voice against well-funded corporations, bringing aggressive advocacy and extensive courtroom experience to every case. Tamara is President-Elect of the Sarasota County Bar Association and will become its 80th President in 2027. She chairs the Council for Diversity and Inclusion and was selected for the American Association for Justice Leadership Academy. She represents clients nationally from mctlaw’s Sarasota, FL office.

Bradenton/Sarasota Chapter of The Links, Incorporated Hosts “Unlocking the Light Within: A Black Woman’s Workshop for Radiant Health, Inner Peace & Joyful Well-Being”

SARASOTA, FL — The Bradenton/Sarasota (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated will host Unlocking the Light Within: A Black Woman’s Workshop for Radiant Health, Inner Peace & Joyful Well-Being on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Betty J. Johnson North Sarasota Library, located at 2801 Newtown Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34234.

This empowering wellness workshop is designed to support women on their journey toward holistic health by addressing the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. Through expert-led discussion and practical guidance, participants will gain tools to manage stress, nurture inner peace, and cultivate joyful well-being from the inside out.

The workshop will feature a distinguished panel of local professionals:
